We have a moments, when we are feeling really down. I would like to know how many of us is reading our Holy Books when we are feeling not great. Are Holy Books making ur mind calm or do u prefere another kind of "healing".

hi chaloa, actually i am not really into reading the bible when i am feeling down or whatsoever, but i do read sometimes, when i feel like reading. but when i am really feeling down what i usually do is to pray and ask for God's guidance & help and i ask him to make me stronger to face my problems and go on with my life. i also ask him to give me clearer mind & judgment and better decisions... i find comfort & peace of mind in talking to God...

No, I really wouldn't say that I do that. I read it for peace. Depending on what's going on at work, or with what's going on between my boyfriend and I, I feel like I need it to give me peace and clarification.
