What are the best way to earn money via advertising on my website

I just poundering what are the best Publishing site's to join I have Joined Adsense from google which i find great to use but i am wondering are there better Paid advertising out there.
I have tried Adbrite Which i have been told if i have the time it is better to go and find my own Advertisers.
And Adonion Which i am not using any more because i found reports online stating that it was no good to use.
and i have tried PPP Pay Per Play which i find really hard to earn income off because i dont live in the (USA)
Can any one suggest to me which Advert publishing site i should use. of is it better for me to use advertising where i earn a commission on how many products i sell.
My website information is
Max hits per Month 10,000
Min hits per month 1,500 (this is only when i'm not really doing anything to boost its hits)
i'm just trying to save time by not getting any time wasters type websites that i advertise for and DONT get Paid for it
