Uploading Photo to Profile / myLot

Can someone tell me how to do this please. I have tried photos-uploading, but the site tells me I have reached my limit, even though I have not uploaded a single one and there is no upload link. I even tried the "Add an Image link" below this box. You have reached your limit...

You go to the profile link at the very top right of the page next to earnings and then you change your avatar.
