Please someone submit a great screenplay to the film makers of Hollywood so they will stop remaking all of the horror movies that made us all terrified when we were kids! Lol. This trend is getting on my last nerve. Get some new material people please!!!!!!!

Well, you're lucky lol. Cause when we were all little (Gen-Xers for one) they scared us pretty bad. And now it is like hey let's take all this new stuff and change the story all around and make it even worse and see if we can make millions off of them again. Ya know? It's like can you please just come up with something NEW... lol

I agree but it's not just horror movies, every single great movie and sometimes not so great movie seems to be either being remade or looked at as an idea for a possible sequel, which ends u being no more than a rehash of the original. If we're not getting remakes we're getting a plethora of comic book super heros, seriously how many super hero movies do we need before people grow tired.

As much as I would love to see NEW material on the screen...reality is that TO ME horror movies SUCK these days and have for several yrs because they have toned them down so much in order to get PG rating so they can have more viewers than if they would with an R rating...THAT SAID..I have to admit that some of the remakes are actually better than the originals...one that comes to mind is Texas Chainsaw..I HATED the original..still do LOL but the remake was pretty damn good! I also have really enjoyed what Rob Zombie has done with the Halloween flicks....the remake of House on Haunted Hill was also pretty good as was the remake of The Haunting (the original was really good too)...So yea NEW material would be nice but some remakes arent all that bad...
