Were you affected by the alcohol ban?

Now that elections are over, the bans are also over - alcohol, gun, etc. The night before the drinking ban, we celebrated my friend's birthday. We were able to drink a bit until midnight and none when the alcohol ban started. Good thing I'm not really fond of drinking :) Were you affected by the alcohol ban or you just ignored it? Did you follow it faithfully? (PS. I used the word alcohol because the real name violates mylot's terms of use :) )
