How do you prefer to travel? Long Driving or Short Plane Rides?

There will always be advantages and disadvantages with every traveling method we choose. I personally love to do long driving because it will give you an opportunity to drive around all possible places which I may pass in my route in the comfort of our own car. Long driving saves more money even if we compute gas and food expenses. The drawback is the long time involved and the possibility of getting lost plus the fact that it will give us some low back pain. Plane rides I think is more comfortable. Just board and let the pilot and crew take care of you. It is more expensive though but it takes you to your destination in a fraction of time you;ll take driving to it. Thank you for your opinions in advance!

uhm.. as long as my husband will drive long driving will be no problem for me.. :) but since he might complain in the end, short plane rides will be fine :) My eyes can't tolerate long driving (astigmatism) by the way and we might end up getting lost :)

I bet long driving is really a difficult task to do if you have astigmatism.

I probably, prefer long driving because you have all the control on it at the same time enjoy the beautiful scenarios that you can passed by, although I definitely not be the one driving since I don't drive. Being practical is still the best you can do. I guess for you not to have a back pain in long driving, you better bring friends that can drive who can substitute you when you back aches again.

My wife and I usually share driving for travels more than 5 hours. I take breaks every about 2 hours to relax and stretch and also to fill up the car with gas.

You are certainly right. There are advantages and disadvantages for both. In my case, I do prefer long driving since I get to see beautiful scenery along the way. But there are times when I do not have the opportunity of time considering that I have a very tight schedule. So often I take the faster way.

Thank you! Since time will always be an issue to everything we do, I do think it will be a major factor to consider which traveling method we will choose for every journey we do.

I usually prefer short plane rides, but my family prefers car rides. I think plane rides are convenient but car rides are more fun and you can take pit stops at different attractions
