Are you scared of lizard even as an adult ?? Why kill them

I have seen people scared of the mere reptile - Lizard . There are many of them in and around my house and they have become a part of our house , helping to keep our house insect free . But some of my relatives are terrified of lizards and refuse to come to our house . But this cold blood does no harm to us . They do run around the house frequently , but they are harmless . But people kill them for no reason . The reason they say is that the children in their house are scared of lizards . As a child I had let lizards climb on me . They are really quiet animals . Is this humanity to kill silent animals and leave the shouting animals ??

hi beachdune In the past when i was a kid i use to get scared on this animals.. because they always jumps to the ground and i get surprise sometimes. but then as time went by im beginning to get use to them hahah there are even three lizards in our house and they always eat mosquito and rats... good thing they are there to help us minimize these pest animals hehehe!!

i am not scared of them, but it is more like neglect feelings. i never kill them, unless if they are slip in my door and crush it. maybe your relatives do that just to protect their kid. they love their kid much than the lizard

There are many of them around our home. One early morning as the window of my room was not completely closed [wooden window that slide left and right consisted of three panels] the lizard jumped sideways to the other panel and spanned the gap amazingly. The jump was perfect despite earths gravity. Another reach for my foot then go away then return to it. Other lizards go near the covered food and when discovered scramble in a split second and find them gripping the wall. In our country lizards were often ignored.

in house i have got so many quiet animals too....but most of them don't bother me but i am really scared of cockroaches....i don't know they just creeps me out...

Our home has some house lizards, they are part of our home, useful becoz they eat the insects, cockroach etc, i am not scared at all, my granddaughter is fond of them, enjoys seeing them crawling on walls and ceiling upside down.. Thanks for sharing Happy posting, cheers. Namastey. Kalyani

i am ot scared of lizards but yes i hate them and drive them away from the house but never kill them as i dont like killing creatures except some who r really harmfull
