My laptop

Ok, my laptop is about 3 years old, maybe more. I love the thing. Before having the laptop I had a conventional desktop computer. That meant I was in my office all by myself. When I bought my laptop I paid an arm and leg for it, but it was all worth it. Now I can work on the computer all over the house. There is a wireless connection in the house which also makes it so much easier. The laptop has seen better days. It has been outside in the grass, had coffee spilled on it and last but not least had to a friend at work clean everything off of it because of a virus. Oh my God, I turned it on one day and the screen instead of being horizontal was vertical - I nearly freaked out!!! I pray my well loved laptop lasts me another 2 or 3 years. It has been a really good friend. When it dies, I will really miss it.

I hope it lasts for you. I would sure enjoy a faster, movable computer. this is annoying to sit here and fight to answer these discussions, when they are slow to come up or i get error messages for timing out.

I use a laptop too. I need it because I travel lot, and I have to carry it along whenever I travel. So, useful ! I can use it at the airports, at the hotels, and wherevr there is the wireless facility available. I have a Toshiba satelite, very light, easy to take along in my hand bag.

I hope your laptop lasts a few more years, too. It sounds like it really has been through a lot, lol. I was told several years ago that the laptops are not really all thery're cut out to be unless you're going to travel. I'm beginning to wonder if they've been more improved from the way some of the other mylotters have been talking. If that's true,k I probably should have gotten a laptop instead of a desktop. I always thought it would be fun to take it outside, especially during the spring and summer, and work on it. I have a patio and I could sit at the table out there with it.
