I wonder about all those survey companies out there trying to lure people with rewards in order to get people to sign on to affiliate companies that are in the business of having you acquire their products for a monthly fees.

In my own experience they have been genuine. Yes they want you to sign up because they get a percentage of your earnings. It would be a better use of time to set up a web page with affiliate links to all the survey companies you can find, then work out ways of sending people to that page. You would then earn a small percentage of each person's survey earnings, for ever. Much easier than spending an hour doing a survey that says it only takes 10 minutes and being paid 25c or something similar.

The website idea sound good. I am worried, however, about disclosing my personal information on the internet or the phone. The other day I got a call on the phone from babytobee and they asked me for my social security number.

for your question yes they are, but not all of them. But for international member and for me, its really difficult to earn more cos i receive very few available survey, a part from that you might be disqualify from the survey depending on your experience, jobs and yes decision making etc. My verdict is that even though survey is genuine, its very difficult to earn and it takes a lot of time too. Till now i have reach payout in only one site of twenty or more site that i have join.
