Have you tried this strategy? If you have an account, whether a checking account or savings account, try deposit the Clixsense to your account (but before you do that, pls. don't forget to photocopy the check so you will have a proof of payment you can use in convincing others that Clixsense really pay). If your bank accepted your check deposit, then the money is now in your account. Then fill-up a withdrawal slip and withdraw the money!

All major banks in the Philippines accept foreign check deposit but you have to have an account with them first. You also have to pay bank charges for foreign check deposits. When it comes to encashment, I've never encountered any Philippine bank that encash foreign checks "on sight", even if you're an account holder. ^_^

you can encahs any check to any bank but make sure you have savings nor checking account to that bank where you want to encash with and i guess it takes time for them to transfer the money, thats also one thing i dont like in clixsense as they only offer check which is not convenient in my part.

i think your best option is to open an account and deposit your check. it will be very secured and you will have the option to withdrew the money from that account or not - at least you will have your checks deposited already and will have an account too! i think some banks even accept checks when you open an account.

As far as I know, Savings account in Bdo accepts even foreign currencies to be deposited in your account though it will be automatically converted into peso then will be addded to your account.
