My sister and I went into American Apparel in my town to look for the new Alex Evans line (as it's her birthday at the time and that's the shirt she wanted) and I was really interested in going partly because I have never gone before and it seems like a lot of people talk about the brand. I must say I was quite disapointed. Im not saying Im a style guru to any meqans of the imagination but the fabrics and styles were pathetic! The fabrics were cheap and uncomfortable and dont last and felt bad between your fingers. Then the styles! So simple and sheer and unattractive and not flattering to any body type. It was pretty bad. Does anyone have any comments or thoughts to buold on this?

I like their very basic stuff, like tank tops and simple t-shirts. The quality is actually pretty okay, the clothes look the same no matter how many times you wash them, and they are pretty comfortable too. So for me, that's the attraction, but a lot of people go there just for the brand too, I'm sure!
