parsley health benefits

One of my friends sent an email about the health benefits of parsley. It is believed to be good in cleansing the kidney. I can't imagine how good or bad it would taste though we use it often in cooking and meal garnishing. But there's no harm if we try. I'm planning to try it one of these days 'coz kidney diseases are becoming more common.I've known a lot of people who had undergone operation/surgery because of kidney stones. Here are the recommended steps: Grab a small bunch of parsley. Chop it finely or use a blender. Simmer it in water for a few minutes. Let it cool and drink it. There's no suggestion of adding any other flavoring but I'm wondering if I could add pandan and sugar. I hope it will taste fine and the results will be just as good.

Parsley has been known for years as a diuretic. So maybe that´s what yor friend was telling you about. But today I came upon an article about parsley that says it willhelp prevent lung cancer. Besides that, it tastes good. So I´m into making some parsley dumplings as soon as I get hold of some big bunch of it.

It's good to know that aside from its use as diuretic, it can also cure lung cancer. I hope there'll be further studies about the benefits of parsley.
