My boyfriend and I went to the cinema last Sunday for the last full show of Robin Hood starred by Russel Crowe. We are planning to see The Last Song at first, but we ended up viewing Robin Hood. It cannot be compared with the first Robin Hood which was starred by Kevin Costner. The story of course are the same, but the latest is not a continuation of the first. The two have different approach which is a nice twist. The first Robin Hood focuses on Robin's rebellious acts against the empire, while the latter focuses on the beginning what caused Robin becoming the Robin Hood. Check it out and see for yourself.

Thanks for your comments. We haven't seen it yet but my boyfriend would like to see Robinhood and Nightmare on Elm Street.

Good choice on skipping the Last Song. I thought that film was terrible and Miley Cyrus is not as pretty as she appears in magazines and on Hanna Montana. Was not impressed with the film. There were also kids behind us farting during the sad parts, kind of ruined the mood. I'm excited to see Robin Hood, and will probably do that sometime soon! Glad to hear it is worth watching!

I saw it just today and I must say that I love love LOVE it! It's very different from the Kevin Costner feature, since that one revolved around the actual legend and this year's version was focused on the origins. Robin Hood isn't really a real person and it's hard to verify if he actually did exist. The Russel Crowe version did a great job at interlacing history and legend. I loved how his "Merry Men" were depicted. I just hope that they had more screen time. Nevertheless, I think it's a great film. It's got everything in it, and it encourages people to appreciate English folklore and history more!

Thanks for the review. I have seen the trailer for the new Robin Hood film but I am not sure if I want to see it myself or not.
