Television Ads

(really a UK question but feel free to give your own thoughts!) Which adverts really get your back up, are there any you actually enjoy? Do ad breaks annoy you when watching a TV show, or do you think they're a good break to run to the toilet or make a drink up? Ad breaks run for about 3 minutes; 3 minutes of telling us about things to buy, places to go, things to see, but some of them are just so ridiculous!! The advert I hate the most (well there are a few!) The Glade touch and fresh advert i think it is with the little boy "I want to do a poo", "I want to do a poo in paauuuulllssss bathroom"! I hate that one, really annoys me, if that was my child I'd tell them to get a grip and go to the toilet!!! Then is the "We buy any car.com" advert!!! That one is just utterly annoying, the one with the man dancing like a prat thinking he is amazing, I just want to slap him. Then is the lawyers4u advert!! My dad goes as far as turning the tv OFF when that advert comes on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The one that really does annoy me is the "GoCompare" advert, honestly i either have to turn the telly off or go in a different room, it drives me mad.

I don't know anyone who likes it, but like my husband said it is doing its job as we all remember it and would list GoCompare as a comparison website.

I hate all the air freshener adverts. Hate ones for sanitary towels and tampons (Jesus - we KNOW!!!). All the insurance ones. The "accident" at work ones where the genuine person who genuinely got £5000 for a fall at work just does it again for the camera??? I also hate the bingo adverts that come on too. I have children, so I also hate how at Christmas time every single advert is toy orientated.
