What have I missed?

I watch a lot of movies, it kind of comes with my line of work. But I have been wondering, what are some of the best movies out there? I don't mean movies that everyone loves, such as Fight Club, Avatar, ect. I mean like movies that might not be popular but have impacted you in some way. One movie that has done this for had got to be Requiem For A Dream. If you haven't seen you should. Thoughts?

I am not sure if we're into the same kinds of movies but I would highly recommend these:
1. Shawshank Redemption
2. Perfume : A Story of A Murderer
3. Eternal Sunshine of A Spotless Mind
