you are not supposed to promote your own websites, etc. wish you best. Read the faqs and guidelines on mylot.

If you really want a backlink for your site you should get active on social sites and build relationship with the members.As you go along you start inviting them to your site and ask them to backlink to your site on their websites. They will do it for you as long as you backlink their sites as well. Good Luck !
