Ok, here is the set up. When we were kids we are told that stealing is bad, and so on and so forth. And as kids we were always faced with the following scenario. You are walking down the street and you find a wallet. Inside there is an I.D. and $50. What do you do? As a more innocent, younger version of yourself you would say. "Either find the proper owner or take it to the police." So, here is my question. As the person you are today, if you found yourself in the above situation, what would you do? Would go back to your childhood upbringing and do what is right, or would you keep the money?

No thinking involved here. Do what is right-as long as there's an ID and address-I'd want the same favor returned to me after all and I'll not be a victim of bad karma~~"what goes around comes back around" So if I send out good by doing good-hopefully it'll come back to me!

I would take it to the police. Usually they try to locate the rightful owner and if they can't find them in a certain amount of time you may get the money anyway. My grandmother nearly raised me and I she would turn over in her grave if I did anything but the right thing.
