Aren't cats real characters?

I think cats are such clever and interesting animals. I have a cat called Shady (pic attached) who is a female tortoiseshell. We have had her 8 years and she's about 10 years old. I think she is very clever. She likes being upstairs and has different places to sleep. At the moment, she likes sleeping on a suitcase in my daughter's bedroom. If she is due a feed, she walks down the stairs halfway, looks at me and miaows. If I don't feed her then, she will move down a stair and if I am on the phone, she will jump up on the phone table and keep miaowing, just in case I had forgotten her! What kind of funny things does your cat do? Where does your cat sleep?

Your Shady looks like my Rio, except she doesn't have Rio's little blaze on her forehead.
Rio is our "diva," our "Zha Zha" cat. She carries her tail like a plumed boa.
She's not our friendliest cat, but she's very "ornamental" and really dresses up any room she's in!

My cats sleep just about everywhere. They have their spots based on their moods. In boxes, bags, you name it they love to sleep in it. My one cat, Chinnia, loves to beg for food simply because I walk into the kitchen. Even if the food dish was recently filled or is full she begs.

Your cat looks like mine that I got from our local animal shelter. They said she is 2 years old but I think she is a lot older as her favorite thing to do is to sleep! She started out sleeping on the back of our living room chair, she slept there so much she has grooved a dent into the chair. Now she has moved to our bedroom. As I said we got her from the local animal shelter and it took her 2 years to accept us, now she is almost always in our bedroom. She hardly ever meows though and purrs very softly.
Many years ago we had a cat that every time we opened the refrigerator she would steal my lettace!

I think cats sleep a lot, however old they are, LOL! They also have a great knack for finding the warm place whether it's a sliver of sunshine coming through or carpet above warm pipes. I haven't heard of cats eating lettuce, that would be funny to watch! Our cat loves chips and curries, but we don't let her have them too often, as her stomach is quite sensitive. She nicks chips off my kids' plates though!!

I have raised a cat for many years when I was a child.You can not find more beautiful animals than the little kitty after birth.The bright eyes,warm and hairy little body,and the intimate feeling when they like your hands,all of these are so lovely.She slept beside us in a paper box and sometimes she would crept in your covers in the winter and snored beside you,when you woke up in the morning you found your cat in your arms sleeping sweetly.Once one of the little cat crept in my back when I was sidelying reading books,it's so funny.
