Is IPL helped Ryan McLaren to grow as a player?

Ryan McLaren who was played for Mumbai Indians in the last IPL has perfomerd very well in both the T20 games against West Indies. You can say that between SA and WI he was the only difference. Had IPL helped him to grow as a player, what are your thoughts?

i would not exactly put it that way but yes the ipl would have helped him to some extent. he has been playing in england and also made it to the south african team before he came to the ipl so he is a very good player even if he had not played in the ipl. he is one of my favourite t20 players.

IPL was a great learning & earning experience for him and he has utilized it completely.
