How desperately you want it to happen!

A couple of days back I was watching s film on HBO. There were these FBI agents in tailored suits at the doorway of Steven Seagal's, to come and arrest him. The scene was of a Rainy night. It was apparent that it must have been very cold, wherever this scene was shot in this entire world. It maybe, was like Burrr.. cold out there with hard sleets of rain. And here, I was sweating sitting on my sofa in front of the tv. It has been a very harsh summer this year. Every single day seems to be hotter than the previous day. Although the city, Mumbai where I stay is said to be a lot cooler comparatively the rest of India. At many a places the mercury is beyond 45 deg. Celsius. It seems as if the Sun got a few miles closer to my balcony. Awww. how desperately I wish to be in the rain, getting drenched. How much I would love to smell the fragrance of first rain on soil! Yup, I am desperate for the rains. Have you ever been so desperate in life like me for anything. It could be anything..... right from the first car you wanted to have or to meet your love, to come back home from a long stay away. Do share. Bodhi

I remember a day some years ago when it was 112 in Austin - very close to that 45ÂșC there. I would hate to live without air conditioning if it were like that...

Without the ac life is miserably impossible here. Even the AC seems to fail to cool. Thanks friend, Bodhi

Few weeks back we are really in deep needs of water because not only for the humid condition...when the heat of the sun kissed your skin it feels like somebody bites your skin and that is terrible. I sweat a lot even inside the house and the worst thing is that we have a frequent power failures everyday because of power shortage due to the water is being at the lowest level in the dams. Now that rain is coming and I really feel happy because of it. We no longer have power interruptions and I stop sweating a lot. The climate is much colder than before and it brings a bit of calmness in to my stress mind. Rain for me is a heaven sent from above.

It really is beautiful to have rains after such a long and harsh summer. On top of the heat if there are frequent power cuts its is so frustrating. Have a great time getting drenched. I was drenched today to the hilt. Enjoy the watr splashing! Sorry for the late response back!

Hi Ann, It was an agonizing summer this year. The heat was unbearable and every day the temperature seem to have gone up by a few more degrees. Thankfully, it has been raining for some days now, and the weather has changed completely. Infact just an hour ago I was sipping a cup of steaming tea after getting drenched all over while coming back home. It should really be like this for sometime now. Pray that it rains good at your place too and the heat subsides soon!
