Going by statistical projections, 2050 will bring a fundamental change in the United States of America that will never leave that great country ever the same again. To begin with, the perceived supremacy of the whites in America will vanish because those we now regard as the minorities will be the majority and the whites who are the current majority will be the minority; Read this interestinh statistics here: http://hubpages.com/hub/America-in-2050

Where I live whites are already the minority so 2050 idea seems a little futuristic to me. What changes matter to this country are how we educate the next generation, all the rest of the speculation is just that. Where we fit in the world will only matter if we stay the inovative country that has been our history..

From what I've been hearing and reading lately it won't take 40 years for this to happen but I think we have a lot of other things to worry about. I really don't care what color or race is in the majority. That's not what has made our nation what it is! Annie

Actually this is going to happen much sooner in the Netherlands and maybe some other European countries as well. Whites will still be the largest minority though. What are you expecting? A multicultural utopia or Haiti, Zimbabwe or South Africa mark II?

Where I live, whites are also the minority. Hispanics overtook the white population several years ago. As long as they're legal and they work, pay taxes...then I don't really care. I just don't want to carry the burden for them if they're illegal, they don't work, they don't pay taxes...
