my dachhound mini throws up all the time wat could be the causse of this???

maybe he ate something he shoulnd have. . . when my black lab pukes i try to see if she puked just food? liquid? something? ... if i notices shes so depresed or quiet i would call the vet imediately and ask him her about the steps to follow.
