My husband dreams to much. He goes to bed at 10.30 pm and starts dreaming almost immediately, sometimes remembering three to five dreams a night. I find it all quite confusing and worrying. Can you help ?

It is perfectly normal to dream a lot and it is a good thing, as your mind is working out any problems and worries. Even nightmares can be therapeutic. Your husband could try keeping a dream diary, writing down what he can remember about huis dreams and then you might find some topics that keep coming up, so you can see if there is something worrying him in particular.

For me I get like 2-5 different dreams a night. so there is nothing to worry about.

I don't think its a real problem only he may not be getting a fully rested night of sleep. Does this happen throughout the night or only in the first few hours? Does he feel rested when he awakes in the morning? I wish I could remember all my dreams but 3 to 5 in one night is something else. I wonder what is he doing before he goes to sleep. Is he watching a action packed movie or what? Maybe if he tries to relax before going to sleep without any type of electronics on. He may have a more peaceful quality type sleep.

A friend of mine has the same case. He's dreaming of different girls asleep or wide awake. Lol. We all do it. We have a lot of dreams when we sleep. We only remember one or two cuz the subconscious mind, where the dreams originate, shuts down when we wake up.

I don't think that it is something worrying. It would be a problem if he couldn't sleep.I think he is lucky. I need pill to sleep so.....
