do you think life is fair?

for some people, they say, "this is life". it has a dual meaning i guess. one would say this when he is having a good life, all pleasure, or at least having a chance to have recreation from time to time. another one can also say when he is having frustrations in life. where do you stand? are you the first person or the second. if you were in the first person's place, would you still think that life is unfair?

Life is only unfair if you look at the unfair side of it. Take for instance the first person in you example. He has all the pleasures in life but for instance he has no family members left. Surely he would think that life is unfair compared to those that still has family members. But if he doesn't mind this fact then he will surely continue to have a very happy life. He will seek for love and build his own family and all.

Fair is definitely all in perception. What one person might see as going through a rough time (say financially), another person might be thankful to be in that situation with that amount of money. People enjoy different things so being in a certain situation could be bad for one and great for another. It all depends on the situation and who you are asking. If it's being good to you, you might think it's fair, but when it's bad you'd definitely be willing to claim life is unfair.
