The restoration of Acropolis is finished after thirty years!!! Our most known monument is back again without scaffolds. Acropolis means a lot for us. Have you ever visit Acropolis ? Do you want to visit this monument? If you are going to visit Acropolis don't forget to visit the new museum. This museum was the biggest dream of Melina Merkouri. Finally her wish was accomplished.

In 4 months I am going to visit Greece for the first time, and Acropolis is one of the places that I definately want to see. I have read about it and seen pictures, and I really look forward to seeing those places in person. The new museum sounds interesting, I will have to find out more about that. I have bought a guidebook that covers several countries in Europe, I know that there is a long chapter about Athens and Acropolis, but I didn't read all of it yet.

Wonderful! I have a friend who lives in Athens. I must message her about the scaffold coming off. I'm sure she will be overjoyed :)

I have always wanted to see the Acropolis. O have seen pictures and listened to discussions from others who have visited Greece and seen it. Hopefully one day I will be able to see it as well.

I visited the Acropolis twice so far - it must look stunning with no scaffolding now :) The last visit we made to the museum at the foot of the Acropolis as well it's immensely interesting, we spent a few hours there enjoying the history.
