Mayawati's assets rise from Rs 52 crore to Rs 87 crore in 3 yrs, WOW.

She came to power on the call of 'sarvajan hitaye' (for the benefit of all). But, in three years as Uttar Pradesh chief minister, Mayawati has proved that, rhetoric aside, she has industriously ensured her own benefits.
This came to light when Maya filed an affidavit along with her nomination papers for the Vidhan Parishad seat.
The BSP chief, who loudly claims to represent the poorest of the state's poor Dalits, keeps getting richer. Her net worth at present is more than Rs 87 crore, a gain of at least Rs 35 crore over her 2007 declaration of Rs 52 crore. With more than 67% returns in three years, her performance could beat the best investment deals.
How could see make that much money?
Just one question - where is Income Tax and CBI?
Are they just for common man and not for politicians making money?

Wow 35 crore in 3 year. 12 crore in 1 year. i crore in 1 month. What a income. A hard working person can not earn much money here bu a corrupt leader can make.

Our politicians do not hard work, they work hardly and that is the reason of such a big income. Perhaps the money came from donation by her so called supporters or may be they were forced to give her that money. She might be knowing better.

I think she thinking to win next election by bribing people like other party do. Because she can not become Prime minister only on the vote of dalits.

Well thats a question where the IT and CBI and how come politicians have much assets without any one to question them,wonder!!

Its seems to be a puzzle for me, what else proof CBI or It department need when she is filing all these information herself. Its a kind of confession that I own that much assets and money.
