I have tried many diets and pills and I have lost weight and then gained it back which caused me to try a new method. What worked for you?

All I can say is, you have to feed the body in order to lose weight. You need to kick up your metabolism so it works properly. If you don't eat, your body will feel it's in a starvation mode, and start fueling itself on your muscle tissue. You want your muscle tissue. If you were lost in the woods with no food, this is exactly what your body would do for it to survive. If you don't eat, it thinks it's in the woods starving and will start this process automatically, going after muscle. Your body doesn't know that you're not eating because you want to lose weight, it just knows you're not feeding it and will do anything to help itself out, which is called survival. Do you see what I'm saying? Therefore, the more you give it something every few hours, it's very satisfied, does not feel like it's starving, and your metabolism will start functioning really well. And if you go walking (or whatever exercise you do), those calories will get burned off because your metabolism is working. Try to cut down on your big meal portions, and don't eat in excess. Stop when you're full, don't keep eating until everything on your plate is gone. Or, put smaller portions on your plate and start with that. Eat healthy foods, not junk. Snack on vegies (have dip if you want), yogurt, cottage cheese, fruit, etc., when you want a snack during the day. Cut some up and leave them in your refrigerator, and then they'll be ready if you want to nibble. Eat a well balanced meal for dinner, so you're not hungry the rest of the night. I use to treat myself to a handful of peanuts at the end of the day, as my prize for doing good, haha. Do some walking, or ride a bicycle, or swim, but find something to do which is exercise. Good luck and I hope I helped you out some.

Thank you so much for all the great advice! I am finally at a weight that I am satisfied with but it is hard maintaining it. I have learned that sometimes I am just thirsty so instead of eating I drink water. I have also starting exercising 2-3 times per week. I bought a cheaper version of the Wii fit and it is fun because I feel like I am playing a video game instead of exercising.

Awww, no problem, I like helping out if I can. Good for you on finding your target weight! Not too many people can do it and yes, it is hard to maintain sometimes. Just remember though to eat something, seriously, even if it's something tiny along with the water so your body has something to burn up to keep your metabolism in good working order. And you're even exercising which is awesome! I'm happy you found something that is not only exercise, but is alot of fun too! Good for you, keep up the great work! Maybe you should do a discussion on how much fun you're having with your Wii fit for other people to see, it might help them also.
