Having a baby(girl or boy) bring the couple closer or not ?

Recently i have noticed, a young couple(one of my friend) having their first baby, come closer to each other, showing care for each other and lot many thinks which was just not happening eariler. Eariler both them were not so happy with each other and have lot complaints for each other. I dont know weather they are showing all now or they have actually come closer. If they have come closer, would all this be for some time period or everything is fine now?
Whatever BABY has brought lot of happiness in their life.

I have seen a few couples who also got closer and treated each other with more sweetness when they had a baby. I think that babies can be stress relievers. I mean, a baby's smile can take away tiredness and even anger. I guess that what's causing the sudden change in the parents' attitude towards each other.

yes, you are right, i guess too. Babies act as stress relievers. Thats very ture. And baby would be your hot-spot, your center of attention, and you just forget(minimize other thoughts atleast) all other things.
