Is weed good for cancer patients?

Ok i hear that weed is good for cancer patients, but all the time i see on tv that marijuana is bad for health and only serves for getting high and misbehave. So what do you think, could weed be good or bad for cancer patients?

when someone undergoes chemiotherapy he or she feels naucea all the time and cannabis helps them feel better in relation to body pain and hungry again.
