Hi there Calixto 21! Well, I'm not sure but I know that stress can trigger headaches. Maybe that's what's happening. maybe you should try to ignore your coworkers as much as you can.

I agree with you. I was getting those stress headaches also and I starting doing this. I was still socialable but tried not to concentrate so much on how they were annoying me.

headache is becoming my co-worker for the last 2 years. there are really some people who are lazy or too slow to catch up simple instructions or just really don't want to learn or improve their lives and do not accept added work load.

I can't tell. But most of the time, migraines persist when there's stress. If you get stressed because of you not getting along pretty well with your colleagues, then probably, that's one of the reasons. You might also take a second look on your lifestyle, habits and other things that may affect your health such as good diet, smoking, too much drinking or poor quality sleep.

Quite possible!Migraines and normal head aches can be of various reasons and intolerable situations may be one of them.Try to mingle with your co workers and get set to their wave length. If it is not possible switch on to some other work. That will be good for your health.

You don't say what you do for a living but if your co-workers are all older than you and you are their 'boss', it is quite possible they resent this. You say your boss doesn't back you up - have you been to him with your problem(s) and talked things through? If he is losing work/profit due to your fellow workers shirking and piling it all on your shoulders he should (if he's any good!) realise that he's paying staff for nothing and maybe he should look at getting shot of one or two who aren't pulling their weight. At the very least, he should have them in the office and read them the riot act (with or without mentioning your concerns depending on your position in the company) and get this problem sorted out asap! As for this problem causing your migraines: are they really migraines or just severe tension headaches? Tension can build up in the neck in these situations and this tension puts pressure on the scalp, pulling the skin taught and causing headaches. You may also find that too much coffee/caffeine has a similar effect. Hope this helps. :-) Geo
