She is pregnant?

Ok I can't believe this, but somehow my beautiful Negra has gotten pregnant. We can't figure out how since she is inside of a fenced in area, the only time the fence is open is when we go someplace then come back, she doesn't leave the yard because we have electronic fence for her. But we keep the other fence up so people wont come into the yard. So now I am wondering if the neighbors fox terrier that he lets run all over peoples properties had gotten into my yard one day when I was gone. This is all I need is more dogs, I just got rid of 8 dogs 4 months ago, so we wouldn't have to worry about puppies, and selling any. I decided that having a kennel was way to much hassle. Negra is my last dog. So I have to wonder how and whom, did that. If the puppies come out looking like my neighbors dog, should I make him be responsible for getting rid of the puppies, or should I take him to court? This is horrible knowing that my dog has never left yet here she is pregnant and about ready to have puppies.

The DNA test is a good idea except for the cost and how do you require the other owner to cooperate and DNA his dog? I do know that if a pet is in heat, males will find her, unless you have her in a pet cage. Does your electronic fence just keep her in or her in and others out?

Don't I wish it would keep the others out but it doesn't I lost my Chi dog last year to a neighbors dog, and she had the electronic fence, that is why we added the regular fence around, but when I go it has to have the gate open. Which gives the dogs plenty of time to get in and do there thing.

If the dogs come out looking like your neighbor's dog, you should petition the court for a DNA test to verify whether or not the puppies are actually your neighbor's dog's puppies. Most pounds will gladly accept animals, and many people are always looking to adopt. Also, you could sell the dogs if you want to make money off of an unfortunate accident.

True, I may have to have a DNA test be done on the puppies. But the man needs to at the least be made to keep his dog in his own yard. I know many of us have complained about him letting it run, maybe this will be a way to make him start doing it.
