I am watching episodes of Married with children now and I noticed, that according to Al Bundy's words americans don't like canadians. Is this true? And If it is, why is that.

Of course Americans hate Canada. They have free health care, they put mayonnaise on everything and they are better at hockey. American does like anyone that goes against our (America's) thread.

I'm not sure why and i'm also not sure if it's true. One thing's for sure, i've worked as a costumer service agent before and canadians are a lot nicer than americans.
