What are you going to do on MEMORIAL's DAY ?

I had no idea what this day was about (sorry i know i am a bad citizen) but its true. However i did a little bit of reasearch and found out what memorial's day is about.
I dont think people really remember WAR HEROS on this day. For them its just another holiday and they just want to chill. What do you think ?

Memorial Day was declared to remember the heroes who gave up their lives for the freedom the citizens now enjoy. Since it is a holiday, perhaps your country could offer a one minute silence. The media could do this easily.

I actually spent my day just laying around the house and surfing the net off and on. It felt good to open my windows and let the breeze in and just relax. I read several articles online relating to the history of memorial day. I also had a little history lesson with my little one about memorial day. That was my day! :)
