My Cell Phone Is Not Working Properly

I have had a Boost Mobile phone for almost exactly one year now. This morning I tried to make a call and the person could hear me, but I could not hear them. I have attempted to make several calls since then and it has been the same thing. I am more than a little frustrated. I have the unlimited monthly plan and have not had any real problems until today. I intend to contact the company, but I fear that my warranty may be up. I can not afford to purchase a new cell phone at this point. Has anyone else had a problem like this, if so, what did you do to remedy it?

The same thing happened to my daughter the other day and it turned out that a "mute" was set on her phone...... Could be worth checking into.

But wouldn't the mute cause them not to hear me and not the other way around. It seems that there must be a logical explanation, but for the life of me, I can not figure it out. I checked their website and apparently my warranty has recently expired.

When my daughter called, I could hear her but she could not hear me. I kept shouting because I knew she was outside and thought maybe it was too noisy where she was. Then we tried it at home too and that's when she discovered that she had a mute on her phone somehow. Hope that's all your problem is too! :)
