If you suffer from nausea, cramps, bloating, gas or diarrhea after drinking milk or eating dairy products, you maybe lactose intolerant. Lactose intolerance is a common reaction to dairy products. Lactose is the sugar found in milk. The small intestine produces an enzyme called lactase. Its job is to break lactose down into two simpler called glucose and galactose. This allows the glucose to be absorbed into the bloodstream. If there is not enough lactase to perform this task, the unaltered lactose passes into the large intestine and begins to ferment, producing acids and gases.

Yep, I'm one of those unlucky people who just can't enjoy the goodness of dairy products. Sad because I love the taste of cream, fresh milk, cheese, and most products made of milk. I love fresh goat's milk, really yummy. There is also this carabao's milk available here in where I live, but I still prefer goat or cow's.
