how to develop typing speed?

Hi Kiran. Yes, there's a lot of soft ware online that you can download for free in able for you to enhance your typing speed. I used to type very slow before but when i got my first job, i realized the need for typing speed and accuracy. I therefor then searched for websites that offers free typing exams that i could practice. And now, i've learned how to touch type with speed and accuracy.

its simple .. just make a print of your key board and paste it in your room .. than you see the changes .. your speed will definitely change

Hi, As now we all have to deal more with computers,we should have a good typing speed.I do practice with some typing tutors.I play some tying games,too.

i guess the only way to improve your typing skills is either to practice always. having formal typing lessons is an option too! cheers and happy myLotting!

use typing games to aide you to developing your skills and as you type letters you have to read the letters a loud so you can rember their positions, correct positioning of your fingers also helps =)

I believe practice makes it perfect. Keep on typing, if possible correct finger positioning or key boarding will help. Or there are textbooks on how you could possibly increase your typing speed. For me, I typed very fast and accurately and I owe it to the university I am from. I just can't help but salute their kind of teaching on typing lessons. I can type without even looking at the keyboard, also I can execute commands in seconds. I am typing at above average speed. Thanks

I was totally like you however I did not learn it anywhere how to type fast instead I stayed on mylot the whole day and started many discussions and started to comment to so with time today I can type really fast even in the dark so try it here itself.
