you might wanna check out this photo guidelines according to mylot.

it is our duty to make sure we have obeyed their guidelines cause if we don't i guess such suspensions or deletions will be granted.
Make sure the photo you are posting is relevant to the discussion. You will not earn if the photo does not relate to the topic of the discussion.
i have been uploading pictures in my comments and responses sometimes.also in my interests and sometimes in my profile page.i really don't know if i have been increasing my earnings from there,but i guess it really does.only the admin knows how to compute our earnings here.
by the way,are you the one on your profile pic?

Hi smiley,
Have seen this from some friends profile, they have lot of photos of themselves added to their page and discussion, even mylot says we can add any picture of interest while discussion, very much unsure you will get special payout for doing so.

well, as far as I learned out from the other members who responded to the discussion that we could possibly earn if others rate the photos! that could only happen if we reach the 500 points..but honestly speaking, I'm not positively sure about that as the info that I just received seem to vary from one to another!!
it seems we have to do extra work to figure it out

well, I have never though of uploading my pictures at Youtube!!
may be we could try to keep on posting here till we reach the required limit though i'm already getting tired of getting into mylot everyday neglecting my assignments simply to gain more points

I had uploaded a few pictures. It was mainly just because I wanted to add them to my profile. I haven't actually added them to discussions, but I have visited discussions that have pictures attached to them. You need to be a friend, I believe, in order to post a comment to the pictures that someone posts. This is unlike discussions, where anyone can make a comment.
As far as the earnings potential, I think that it is basically the same as discussions. So, there is a potential to earn. You may just want to read the guidelines for further clarification.

I'm not sure about the photos in our interest page but I do know adding photos on here will help earn the poster money IF it's rated. It has to be rated for us to earn anything. Now once you make 500 posts, you'll be able to add pictures to your discussions as well. You're not far from it!

yeah sugar I have noticed this few minutes back where I had mistakenly used more than 3 emoticons then, a warning message appeared to me followed with another space at the below side showing the a place for photo uploads for the first time to me that is cool...
but most probably that I can only earn when my points are 100 extra 
and that is way too far
But, I'm still not sure as it seems we have to explore this area

I have tried this before but I do not think that you will get paid when you upload photo. I have upload a photo before but I don't see any increment in my income. But I am not sure whether they will pay you if you put up more photos. You can give it a try.
