The flush tax went up around here recently. It was not the first time that it had gone up but its getting the point where its absurd. I understand it to a point. For those unfamiliar with it, we're getting charged with the disposal of water that we already paid for on our water bill, when we put it down the drain or flush the toilet. Or even when we do not do these things at all. For instance, water that we use to water our gardens, it is not going down any drains, but we are getting charged with it. There are many taxes that might seem unfair, but I can understand. However, the flush tax is tending to get to the absurd levels. Do you have to pay the flush tax in your area? Is it a bit too steep for your taste? Looking forward to reading your responses and thanks.

I recycle most of my water. Obviously the toilet and kitchen can't be recycled, but my wash water always is and sometimes my shower water.
