finding a decent cable provider

Boy, I have been looking for a deal and finally found one! I checked out the one that bundle several things together (cable, internet and phone) and each separately. It was a hassle. One wanted 11 bucks a month just for local channels and the next step up was 50 bucks a month! Finally I found one that was around 40 a month for several channels. Their on line chat/customer service really sucked though. I kept looking determined not to go with them! Then I found a satellite company where I get like 120 channels for about 25 bucks a month... went with them and they already set it up.. now to get the internet going at the house.. maybe I'll be online working mylot more after that! Do you get frustrated dealing with all the options? ... just overwhleming sometimes!

I love Comcast it is my overall favorite I have tried all the providers my second favorite would be Dish or Direct Tv but Comcast is more conveint it has the best prices on the wireless/desktop well you basically get the wireless free so it's a good deal...and the on demand as well which is good....

yes i do and if you arent careful they will add on a bunch of stuff after they hadnt mentioned before like surcharges, etc. we have all ours together here, phone, cable, internet, all through one cable company. sometimes its easier to do what they call a "bundle".

Yeah they conveniently added a six dollar charge that will be placed on the bill after the first few months. It's to cover any equipment or technological needs. It's a lot less expensive than paying for a service call. It did kinda irk me though... I would do a lot better if people would tell me everything up front!

I must say there are tons of cable companies now that offer a cable program with your house phones and internet. It is a great bundle but must be careful that they aren't adding anything else in there like demand on TV or your HBO channels if you don't want those because those most of the time cost you more money. I do have a bundle, not sure how much it is a month but i do want to say i believe it is 163 a month for all three. Now i live in south Florida where things can be a little pricer and now we have found out a even better bundle that saves money and might be changing again as to save money. You alwyas want to save money and hope to be saving money in the end because saving money means you can do something else with your life now like maybe a vacation.

Hello for internet i use BSNL broadband, i access through my landline phone, for unlimited download i pay 1000 rupees per month. But for tv, my service provider is my own brother in law, he has dish receivers in his home roof, about 100 meters from my home, from there cable runs to houses of his costumers, i pay him 200 rupees every month, from others he takes 300 rupees.. We can view about 120 channels, it includes sports, news, national geography, discovery.. Thanks for sharing. Welcome always. Cheers. Professor
