Women do most of the talking..

When couples argue, women do most of the talking while the man just answer when needed or remain silent at all.
This is what I witnessed when my dad and mom have heated discussions. My mom do a lot of talking while my dad remain quiet all the time as if he's not listening. Mostly I take the side of my father and hated my mother because she don't even let my dad speak for his side.
Do couples have the same scenario when arguing where the woman talks all the time?
How do your parents argues? Do you take sides?

it might be true since women wants to voice out everything rather than keep it to themselves. Maybe men should learn from their mistakes as well so women would lessen talking the same issue to them.

My wife and I rarely argue but when we do it's usually because I have done something wrong, so my wife does most of the talking and I just listen and try to read her mind so I can say what she wants to hear, I don't know why I do this because it never works and I always make the situation worse.

yeah sometimes it's better to shut your mouth because one word might make the whole situation worse. Just be careful not to repeat the same mistakes again so you won't make your wife talks too much. :)

It's rate for my boyfriend and me to argue, but when we do, he actually does most of the talking. He's very good at arguing. I'm usually overruled because I see that I was the one who did the wrong thing. I usually do argue my case though.
My parents rarely argue as well. When they do, my mother does most of the talking as well, but she is usually overruled by my father. He has better points, etc.
I guess it's genetic, because I tend to lose arguments as well. Maybe I let anger get the best of me, but I'm usually just wrong. LOL
