I dont eat eggs very often because I know that eggs contain cholesterol especially the yolks, but I love eggs and I still eat them scrambled, and occasionally I mix them in cake mixes and other recipes that require the use of eggs, but sometimes I wounder if eating eggs ones or twice a month will put me at risk for high cholesterol later in life. Right now my cholesterol is fine, but in your opinion do you think eating eggs with yolks will eventually give me high cholesterol or not? I think that if I eat eggs in moderation I'll be ok, but maybe I'm wrong tell me your educated guess or opinion.

hi apples! It is advisable to take eggs without yolk,if you are health conscious. If your cholesterol is alright, then you can take eggs with yolk.

Nah. It's only once or twice a month. I eat it every day. If you're so afraid, I guess you can just eat the egg whites, since they are filled with protein and are really healthy.

i do have high cholesterol and i eat eggs 3 times a week with no higher levels in cholesterol when checked with blood work. id be more concerned with eating xcess beef. chicken skin or cheeses. moderation is the key to everything we eat.

Egg-cellent Protein - Eggs, high in protein. Good to eat, hard boiled or soft boiled. Can also be eaten scrambled.
Not being a doctor or a food nuitritionist I will take a un-educated guess and say NO. If you are only eating a few eggs a month then there is no way they would cause you high cholestrol. Eggs, in moderation are actually very healthy for you. You are more likely to end up with high blood pressure worry about what you eat. If eggs were so bad they would carry health warnings, dont stress. In my expert educated opinion I would simply say 'dont eat the shells' Only yoking.... Have a cool day

Hiya apples, I would go along with Max as we need to eat everything but in moderation. Sugar is one of worst enemies but you probably find it in almost everything and it might not be on the label or with some other disguised name. So I would try to just eat all in moderation and that´s it. Right now they are marking all the ingredients on the labels in the Supermarkets but I still would not trust them altogether as it is another way to try and get you to buy only in their place. It´s a real pain trying to eat properly when the only thing you have are these kind of Stores around. Try not to worry so much as that is not good for us either so they say.

If you don't have high cholesterol now, eating a couple of eggs a month won't harm you. Several years ago eggs were made out to be really bad for us, and I'm sure for some people they truly are. You can always buy the Egg Beaters, which don't have yolks, but unless I'm way off, the eggs should not do anything bad for your health. If anything, they would do something good.
