GMA is paying TV ads to promote herself before stepping down.

I think I'd seen not only two TV ads that is proudly informing the public that the out going president Gloria M. Arroyo had done many great project on her administration. The ad is also saying that GMA created many useful projects than the 3 former presidents of the country. Well she may be telling the truth, but why didn't they also include that most or all of those project owed from the world bank and other countries. Try the north and the south expressways, yes those roads are quite good now, but why is it that we are paying high tool if we drive on them? Well GMA may created a lot of projects, but she also created a lot of DEPTH!!! and who will pay for those? The filipinos, and the great great great great grandchildren of this country.

Hello jamed28, She's weird, making commercials now that the elections are over, i think she needs to answer her accusations, most specially the scandals that she kept evading for the last nine years. Despite of that I know GMA had done what she can do to save this country. come on, she did something you know. even Gordon commented her as hard working. but she was indeed transactional and that shallowed all of her achievements over the past nine years. I believe she became President shouldering all of Erap's troubles during his Presidency. but i had to admit, still she was transactional, when she should have been transparent.

Yes, Letranknight, I agree with Gordon that GMA is hardworking. But the more important thing really is whether she has concrete results to show for it. If you look at all her projects, most were stop-gap measures with no long term effect on the economy. Most were designed to make our national statistics look good. Remember the "Trabaho ni Gloria" program which was short-lived? She's an economist and all her projects are designed to pump the economy at the right time to make us look good before the international community. But has she even made a dent on any of our deep-rooted problems? We are still on the US list of countries to avoid until now. Her vision for this country is as short as she is, and that is why time seemed to have stood still in this little corner of the world.
