Yes I do own and ride a motorcycle. Most of the accidents that occur on the road here in Asia, are caused by careless and/or drunk driver/s or riders. Why use a motorcycle as an everyday transportation?well, to avoid traffic and to save money and time.Yes, it is risky but a responsible rider must always wear protective gear (especially helmets) and of course respect for all motorists.

I had a motorcycle accident twice in my lifetime (so far, and I hope that's all there is). Thanks God I'm still alive. The first time was when I was elementary and I got hit by a motorcycle, it gave me a big scar in my left leg. The second time was before I graduated college and I was the rider, I got spooked (since it was dark then) I pressed the accelerator and the motorcycle got out of control, it only gave me cuts and bruises. These motorcycle accidents are very common. But this vehicle is very convenient to ride and very affordable and so it is just understandable why it is the most common mode of transportation. The accidents I had was a lessons learned for me and had made me a more conscientious, mindful and careful driver (not only with motorcycle but even with 4-wheels). I get annoyed with motorcycle riders who are such a road pest. They get mad when they're hit by 4-wheel automobiles when they should always be the one to yield because motorcycles are a lot easier to maneuver. We should always remember our manners especially when we are driving. There won't be vehicular accidents if everybody abides by the traffic rules and always keep a cool head when driving (which is very difficult, I know, but that's what we should all practice for everyone's safety.)

I love motor racing and I remember when I was in the second year in the University, we were a group of sixteen students who borrowed the big motorcycle for a long ride, we eventually had an accident and four among us were injured, I was one among, we were taken to the nearby hospital to then at home, I was really scared at that time, but gradually I regained the love for motorcycle again and now my boyfriend has a motor and he is a very good rider so I go with him only now, where I am sure I will be in security.
