My boss fells I'll let him down

tell me if I understood you correctly, You told your boss that you want to resign due to financial problems. Your boss seems sad and more distant to you and is sadly expecting your resignation day after day. Did I understand it correctly? If I did, then, I have a question, why tell your boss you want to leave if you're not leaving anytime soon? There's atually nothing you can do about it. You've marred whatever bond you had with your boss. The best way to deal with his disappointment is to still do your job well, be a friend and inform you boss atleast 1 month before the effectivity of your resignation.
