There are a lot of martial art films even before his birth. But these films are not noted by the world. It is only through Bruce Lee movies that the world gave importance to martial arts.

@jacoo999 I guess he paved the way for the martial arts movies' exposure on a wider platform and thus helped in bringing them to the masses.

Before the coming of Bruce Lee Kung Fu was known only to Chinese. But Lee encouraged it and spread it all around the world. Through his movie Enter The Dragon, a change came to the world of martial arts. Really we all have to thank Bruce Lee.

"Enter the Dragon" set the standard for all of the movies that came after to live up to and none of them have. When Bruce Lee introduced the deadly nunchucks to the Americans audience we went wild!!

I remember seeing "Enter the Dragon" when I was living in Taiwan in 1973. Didn't Kareem Abdul Jabbar play a small part in this movie?

I've seen Enter The Dragon two times and it is a revolution movie for sure But I haven't seen anything else of Bruce Lee, though I've watched a lot of Jackie Chan movies. What other Bruce Lee movies should I watch?

Look up some more Bruce Lee films. "Enter the Dragon" is his best (my opinion). But you won't be disappointed with his other movies. Without a doubt, although he was American (born in San Francisco), he is a legend and a super star in both America and Asia!

@cmoneyspinner yes that's true. A total legend. You know that because people still watch his movies in awe.
