What do you do when your friends start new discussions and you are not able to respond to them as it does not cater to your interest or do not have any knowledge about the subject. Do you feel that your friends would think that you have not responded to their discussion and feel bad so just respond or would you just ignore the discussion and carry on thinking they would understand.

This happens quite often and at one point it did sort of worry me that I may offend if I didn't respond to their discussions. But there really is no point trying to respond to a discussion that you either know nothing about or fails to interest you. As someone else mentioned there are plenty of other people on here who could respond in a more worthy manner.

Herro avani26 I don't have a lot of friends, however, if I attempted to answer their discussions, I wouldn't have time to investigate other discussions. I think my responsibility is to comment on discussions that I may have something to contribute. I think it is also my responsibility to acknowledge comments made to my discussions.

I do not think that should answer all my friends discussion. I can not respond in discussion such as "what do you think about president of my country X?"

I do not think I would be able to answer that question also.
