Hello Everybody, Have you heard about a relatively new kind of scam where fraudsters try to get your details using the inactive tabs that are open on your browser? Very recently this was known where fraudsters gather info of your frequently visited sites from your browser history and try to change the data of an inactive tab by replicating it. It is being termed as 'tab napping.' Suppose if you are on an internet banking page, they will replicate that page and upload a page which will ask you to put in your user name and password. By doing this, they will be accessing your banking info. So, it is highly recommended that you check the address first. It should be https:// Else, re-type the web address and try to log in. Stay Safe. Cheers, bizz4u.

Wow, what will they come up with next. It is so that you just can't delineate the difference anymore. I will have to pay attention to my URL addresses as I am guilty of rushing all the time and loving conveniences. Thanks for the alert.

Even i wonder, whats going to be next. And yes, keep a watch on the URL addresses. By this way we can be sure that we did not fall prey. Thanks for your comments and have a good day.

Right you are to wonder. Maybe the next thing will be that unbeknown to us we will be watched from behind our computer screen, and not know it. Thanks again, I have been watching out for the URL addresses, especially when a pop up comes up. I basically close it right away.

Hiya bizz, I did not know that one I really did´nt. Will take note of that and tell my clan as i call them about it and to be very careful about what they are doing. I had some idea about them using recent searches that you do as you receive e-mails after about the same thing you were looking for even though you did´nt opt in for any of the pages you were looking at. Have you noticed that. Me of course I throw them all into the spam thing and away. But I did have an idea about them spying into what you read. There is no privacy anymore is there?

Hello This one is the latest one and i came to know recently as well. Need to be more alert when we are online these days. We do have security and firewalls but these scamsters are forward thinkers. And yeah, most of the spam is dealt by my mail provider and in case if something comes up, as you do, i mark it as spam as well. Privacy is a term which is disappearing in this digital world. Everything is more public. Dont know what future has in store. Always be proactive and all the best. Cheers.
