BEST FRIEND:really?

Well there was time when you could say with pride that "hey guys this is my best friend",but now i really cringe at the idea of using the term "best friend",as using this term has only given my most harrowing times ever,has anybody any harrowing things to share about their bst friends,it will lessen my grief a bit!

I agree!
'Best friend' is a really awkward term, I don't know why. A part of me if afraid that when I call someone my 'best friend' I'm putting myself out there way too much? What if they don't like me as much as I like them? It's just the insecure part of me I guess..Haha
In retrospect I do use the term 'Biff' a lot, it more casual and less awkward..
