Oh my God, am I addicted to coke?

I bought a box of those glass bottle coke from SAM's club the other day, and I drink them almost everyday. Because it is summer time right now, and I like to exercise a bit after work. After I get really dehydrated, I would like to open the fridge and drink a cold bottle. It really make me feel fresh. But I just stop drinking water on these 2 weeks. Am I addicted to coke now? I just don't want to be fat.

When I first moved out from my parents home, I drank roughly 2 24-packs of coke every week. About 6 cans of coke a day. Actually it wasn't being fat that changed my ways. It was cost. I don't remember when, but one day I sat down and did a budget. Listing out all my expenses, and using my prior months bank statement to determine what all I spent my money on. I figured out that I was spending roughly $650 a year just in soda pop. Just carbonated sugar water. That's a ton of money that I could use for something more important. So now I rarely buy soda pop, and if I do, it's normally a 2-liter of the off brand, which is about 85¢. In the mean time, I drink tea, which is about $7 for two boxes, which last me a month. I would encourage you to take care of your body of course. However, money is also a good reason to not buy coke.

Oh my, that's bad for sure. You stopped drinking water?? and now what you like is Coke, that is bad for your health and my advice only is for you to consider drinking more water than soft drinks because it will harm your kidneys. People who abuse taking too much of these carbonated drink end up on dialysis center. I am surely not kidding but if you wanted to get a dialysis, sure by all means, just drink purely soft drinks and not water.
