Every religion in the world has their own god. But no one in the world has seen god. However there is this deep faith for this unseen god in the world. My god is different and yours is different. But aren't all gods same?

I strongly believe that all "gods" are different. Most of these so called gods are just things that people want to believe in. But I do believe that everyone has a yearning for God.

For me, God can reach out to each and everyone in a different and mysterious ways. He appears in our life in the most special way.

Not EVERY religion has a god...and though I suppose to SOME extent the religions that DO have gods are gods of basic similar principles etc but there are numerous differences too.i guess to me it really doesnt matter so long as a person is a good being with a kind, loving heart thats whats important regardless of whether or not its becuase of their religion or a god they may believe in.

I believe people have so many ideas of God and seemingly different gods because God is so far beyond what we can comfortably think of. How can we think of someone or something so vast? Default seems to be to find a way to define God as a super giant person, a product of our brains, or maybe a force. People like to talk and act. What do you do when you have no definitions or words? God is not created by people but people do create their 'version' of God because there's really nothing much else we can do. That's where I see all the trouble starting, the arguments, the misunderstanding. Once we've seen or understood something about God, we hold onto that. We may know there's more but we don't know how to think about it.

I believe that there is one God. Even within Christianity, there are those who act as if God belongs to them. Thus, they believe their God is different. When Christian countries warred, they prayed to God. When teams play football, the opposing sides pray to the same God and act as if He is taking sides. Left wing and right wing Christians act like they hold God in their pockets. We belong to God, not vice versa. The Christian and Judiasm God is the same. I personally feel there is a reason to have faith in an unseen God. I feel that if He does exist, and if He has been around for a long time, He has a mystery that has me wondering. I wonder what happened for the near infinity before we got here. Thus, my faith must believe his word that I can live forever. I must have faith that God makes covenants that He keeps. Thus, all gods are not the same because there is only one God and He has given us His rules. He has made a covenant with us and we make a covenant with Him. If you are to live forever, you should keep your promises. I don't think it's as hard as we make it out to be.

yes , this is the basic of Islam , it was GOD who send all the scriptures to the mankind , but in due course , man changed the scripture according to his wish . so during each change he made either prophets as god or idols to make a full stop GOD send the final scripture called quran which remained unchanged for the past 1400 years , as per Islam , GOD is one , people call him by different name and most beautiful names belongs to GOD
